Selling Your Laserdisc Collection
Do you have a box or crate of Laserdiscs you're ready to
get rid of? Maybe your LD player doesn't work anymore(and finding
parts can be very difficult nowadays), or maybe you've just
upgraded to DVD. Whatever the case, we may be able to assist you.
Laserdiscs, when new, commanded a VERY high retail
price(some sold for $50-$75 or more new!). Unfortunately, both
the VHS and DVD markets have crippled the LD market.
We currently can pay $.25 to $1.00 for most titles, assuming that
both the jackets and LDs are in great shape. Some particular
titles may be worth up to $2.00-$4.00 in rare cases, while likewise, LD's
not in the best conditions, or just plain unsaleable titles may be less
than $.25
