Selling Your LP's
You probably have lots of questions about that record collection
you have, maybe even sitting down in the basement or garage. Is
it time to unload them? Are they worth anything? Do I have even
still have a turntable? Should I just throw them in the garbage?
Well, chances are if they're sitting in a basement or garage, the
LP's them selves might have accumulated a degree of mold or water
damage, and if this is the case, then depending on the severity of
the damage, it might be easiest to just throw them out.
As far as value goes, most LP's these days really have an
insignificant dollar value. If you live in the Phoenix area, give
us a call, we'll come to you to take a look(no need to drag your
collection around town), and make you an offer. If you are not in
the Phoenix area, we may be able to arrange some shipping options,
depending on the collection of course.
The two best ways to discover the value of your LP's are:
1. Contact us. Call us, e-mail us. We can go over
your collection with you, or send us a partial listing of
the LP's.
2. There are several LP price guide books available. Many
of these books, however, suffer from an over-inflation
of the prices of very common records. Remember, an LP
is only worth what you can sell it for. And depending
on the size of the collection, the value of your own
time can become a factor.
