Selling Your VHS Collection
Cleaning house, or upgrading to DVD; whatever the reason, you may
just want to unload your VHS collection. Thanks to the wonderful
technology of DVDs, the value of the classic VHS tape has diminished.
But, depending on the size and titles in your collection, it still
might pay off better than throwing them out, or chancing them at a
yard sale(Where you might be able to get $1 each for the better titles,
and be left with just the poor titles to throw out or give away)
We currently pay between $.25 and $.50 for VHS tapes, depending on
condition, title and playability. Certain titles, especially music concerts,
special editions, or sealed copies of popular classics can be worth
$.50 to $1.00 per tape.
We do not buy screeners(Promotional VHS), those should be given
away to friends, or simply thrown out.
